participated in the Georgia Chess Association's 2009 Open
Individual Scholastic Chess Championship on Saturday, March
28, 2009 at the Jekyll Island Convention Center. To

Tournament results from GISCA's fourth tournament of the
2008-2009 Grand Prix season, as well as full Grand Prix
results, have been posted.

scholastic chess teams throughout the state of
Georgia. The
Primary and Elementary teams from Oglethorpe Point
Elementary School also represented the Golden Isles
at this prestigious invitation tournament.
